James Page Eaton. Age 100 of Oakmont passed away on August 27, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Ann Eaton. Loving father of James E. (Linda H.) Eaton, Donna L. (G. Lewis) Dexter, William E. Eaton, and Elizabeth A. (John) Yosinski. Brother of Mary Lou (the late Charles) Berg, and Martha Lee (Robert) Collins. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, special friend Janet Parkins, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his late brothers and their late wives, Jack (Betty), E. Neal (Betty Jane), and Donald (Lois) Eaton. James along with his brother, Don, were owners of Eaton Motors in Oakmont for over 50 years. James's true love was being a pilot for 77 years and he enjoyed working on cars and tractors. He was a member of the Oakmont-Verona Rotary, Shriners, Scottish Right, Pittsburgh Regional Horseless Carriage Club of America, the Antique Car Club, and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was the recipient of two prestigious FAA Awards; the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award and the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 30, 2017 and Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Oakmont Presbyterian Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery.
