Age 99, of Oakmont, on Monday, April 15, 2024. Beloved wife of the late James W. Lasher; loving mother of Lawrence (Shari) Lasher and Terry Martin; grandmother of Sarah (Matt) Bowers, Christopher (Stephanie) Martin, Deuntay (Benjamin) Diggs, Jimmy (Rachel) Lasher and Maggie (Fiancée Tom Hannah) Lasher; great grandmother of Levi Martin; survived by her sister Dorothy (the late Phil) Murray; predeceased by her siblings Valerie (Joseph Sr.) Clark, Eleanore (Stan) Dudczak, Ann (Vince) Bigenho, Theodore (Lucy) Hollinger Jr., John (Joan) Hollinger, Richard (Louise) Hollinger, Edward Conrad (Marilyn) Hollinger, and Alice (Gene) Mialki; also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as grandnieces and nephews. Theresa was a graduate of the Pittsburgh School of Nursing and worked as an R.N. for many years. She was one of the founders of the Pittsburgh Hospice. Theresa was a school board member for the Verona School District and following the merger, the Riverview School District. She was a lifetime member at Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph Church and enjoyed spending her time volunteering in the community with the Ladies of Charity. In her retirement she volunteered with Meals on Wheels and provided flu shots to various senior citizen communities. She was an avid bowler and card player and never turned down a piece of chocolate.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4-8 PM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 10 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph Church, 825 Second Street, Verona, PA 15147, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
