Edward Ryan

Edward Ryan. Age 78 of Oakmont passed Thursday, June 1, 2017. He was born in Pittsburgh on June 12, 1938 to the late Edward Ryan and the late Mary Kwiatek. Beloved husband of Jane Ryan. Father of Ed Ryan (Lora) of Fayetteville, GA, Shawn Ryan and Kathy Ryan. Grandfather of Zak and Colten of Fayetteville, GA. Also survived by Sandra Veary (Ian) of Katy, TX, Linda Kopar of Conroy, TX, Karen and Bill Calhoun of Woodland, TX, brother-in-laws Bill Calhoun (Sandy) and the late Scott Calhoun, cousins John Kwiatek and Joe Jenca. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Edward was a Navy Veteran and officer at the American Legion Post 600 as well as an officer for the Orpheus Singing Society for 30 years. He was also a member of the Morningside VFW and worked for Morris Paper with the Teamsters 249. The family would like to thank Mary McGrellis, John Olson, Louie Scott, VA Dr. Judith L. Plowman, and the nurses at Concordia- Lisa, Rhona, and Cherie. Services will be private and interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
