Lillian Stuckman. Of Verona, passed peacefully at Mercy Hospital on Friday, February 10, 2017, just days after celebrating her 95th birthday. Lil was raised in Leechburg and lived in the Verona area for the past 60 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Stuckman who passed in 1998. Loving mother of James (Debbie) of Verona and John (Dianne) of Gibsonia. Grandmother of Grant, Garrett and Parker Stuckman, who were her pride and joy. Aunt of Karen Jurkovic of Greensburg who held a special place in her heart. Also survived by her granddaughter and great-granddaughter by marriage, Dayle and Shelby Lunn. Lil was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Verona and was part of their Women's Group. She was also a member of the Rosedale Women's Group and St. John's Lutheran's Golden Friends Group. In her younger years, she worked as a telephone switchboard operator but was most happy as a homemaker. She was known for baking pies for every occasion, having baked one just last week. She was active, strong and feisty and continued to live independently at home until her last days. Friends will be received Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139.
