Barbara R. Bajoras

Barbara Rose (Braun) Bajoras. 84 of Latrobe passed on Sunday, December 16, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Bajoras, Sr. Loving mother of Thomas (Lisa) Bajoras, Jr., Robert (Susan) Bajoras, Judith (Barry) Krieger, William (Karrie) Bajoras, and Jill (Dave) Almasy. Sister of Edward Braun, Jr. Dear grandmother of Mathew, Karalyn, Katherine, Phillip, Logan, and Michael. Barbara started her teaching career in math at North Allegheny High School and after a break to raise her family she continued her math teaching at St. John the Baptist and then A.E. O’Block Jr. High School until retirement. She was educated at Oakmont High School and majored in math at Chatham College. She enjoyed playing the piano and in high school played the French Horn in marching band. She also loved Broadway musicals, crossword puzzles, and reading murder mysteries.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4-8 pm at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:30 am in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont. Everyone please meet at church. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation at Parkinson.org.
