Harold A. Mauro, Sr. Age 96 of Verona passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Phyllis Mauro. Loving father of Harold, Jr. (Joy), Jerry (Kathy), and Marta (the late Rege) Hughes. Best Pap to Heather, Megan (Matt), Erica (Justin), Shane, Tyler, and Blake. Great-Pap of Harper and William. Preceded in death by parents, Pelligrino and Marie, his great grandson, Andrew James, and his 10 brothers and sisters. Harold was a WWII veteran and trustee at the Verona Eagles. It was a true honor to be his children and grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday, November 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10 am in St. Joseph Parish, Verona. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
