I am a many-years friend of Bernie Lairo, MaryEllen's sister, and I was fortunate to get to meet and know MaryEllen during her visits in Germany.
We enjoyed many hours of talking, laughing - which she liked to do a lot -,yes, and smoking!!! I will miss her and keep the memories of good times dear in my heart.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Maryellen had such an uplifting presence that she made everyone feel better. She was a wonderful lady.

Mr. LoAlbo,
You have my deepest sympathy. But it doesn't seem like it now she is in a better place. From what I have read she lived a fantastic life and you were a large part of it I'm sure. Just remember all the good times you two have shared and I'm sure they out number the not so great times.
Well in closing you and your family have my condolences

Sincerely,
Tom Durmis

What a shock to find Maryellen here. I have thought of her and Bernie so often and can still see Maryellen cheering on Verona's athletes. What an
energetic and vivacious person she always was. To her widespread family,
please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
