MaryEllen (Wagner) LoAlbo. Age 85 of Verona, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, December 31, 2017 to be with her heavenly father after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.   Born on December 24, 1932, she is the Daughter of the late Jean (Diskin) Wagner and Joseph Wagner.  Beloved wife of 64 years to Alfred Savino LoAlbo; loving mommy to Susan Jean Bernadine LoAlbo, Verona, PA, Michael Wagner LoAlbo (Veronica), Verona, PA, Daniel Victor LoAlbo (Tracy), Virginia Beach, VA.   Survived by her grandchildren who filled her life with joy, Jared Michael LoAlbo (Carly), Houston, TX; Jami Marie LoAlbo (Dan Wallick), Ben Avon, PA; Taylor-Mary Smith (Seth Apol), Dormont, PA; Joseph Alfred LoAlbo, Carnegie, PA; Landon Daniel LoAlbo, Virginia Beach, VA and Dalton Lane LoAlbo, Virginia Beach, VA.    She is also survived by her loving and devoted sister, Bernadine Wagner Lairo (Alex), Frankfurt, Germany and her loving daughter-in-law, Janet LoAlbo of Verona, PA.    She is loved by her many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends who have been so caring and loving over these many years! MaryEllen never met a casino she did not like!   Loved “her” Pittsburgh Steelers, bingo, playing her numbers and talking on the phone with her many friends!   She loved going to her “Women’s Week at Camp “for over 30 years with her dear “camp” friends! Along with her sister and lifelong friend Barb Pinto, over many years, she traveled to Germany, Italy, France, England, Scotland, Wales, Greece, Holland and Croatia!    She went to Hawaii, Mount Rushmore, North Dakota and made several trips to California… She had an adventurous spirit and caring soul.   MaryEllen was a paraprofessional at Verner Elementary School for 25 years and enjoyed touching the lives of many young persons! Friends and family will be received on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 4-8 pm at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc, 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate her amazing life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11 am in St. Joseph Parish, Verona. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Interment in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery will be private.
