Percy J. "RIP" McWilliams. Age 88, of Penn Hills, on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Born September 12, 1930 in Turtle Creek, PA, son of the late Edwin and Lyda Painter McWilliams, he served in the Army Air Corps and was employed for many years by U.S. Steel and the Union Railroad where he worked in Maintenance of Way. He was preceded in death by his wife Florence (nee Zielinski), brothers John "Donk" McWilliams, Harold "Loc" McWilliams, Russell McWilliams, and sisters Arlene Dugan and Thelma Conley. He is survived by sisters Lorraine Armbrust, of West Mifflin, and Edith (Bob) Jones, of Amelia Island, FL., his deeply loved children Keith McWilliams and Kathleen (Bob) Turco, three beloved grandchildren, Michael and Patrick Turco, and Julie (Edgar) Penedo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A huge fan of Pittsburgh sports teams (especially the Steelers) and old and modern western films and television shows, he was trained in carpentry, construction skills, general auto mechanics and loved to play pranks on people up to the very end. His wit and humor were endless, as was his genuine compassion for those less fortunate. He had a big heart and was loved by many, and will be missed by all. And as he often said in parting, "Happy trails to you!...(until we meet again)." As per his wishes funeral services were privately arranged through English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Oakmont. Online condolences may be made to: englishfuneralhome.com
