Ann A. Medis

Age 67, of Allison Park, on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents Daniel T. Medis and Jacquelyn L. (Debias) Medis; sister of Daniel Medis III and Ralph (Robin) Medis.

Ann was a certified court reporter for over 40 years. She was generally regarded as one of the finest court reporters in Pennsylvania and at the time of her passing was regularly engaged by national law firms for her court reporting services. She always delivered a transcript before a due date, had almost a zero percent error rate, and was beloved by the lawyers in the Pittsburgh region for her professionalism and perfection in her work. She was the consummate professional who was hired by prominent lawyers who needed her excellent services. In addition, the Court Reporting community regularly called her ‘a legend’.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 9-11 AM, followed by a Blessing Service at 11 AM, at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Private interment to take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
