Barbara J. Arnold

Age 96, a resident of Oakmont for over 70 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Lewis Arnold; loving mother of Barbara (Ted Bahry) Boal, Peggy (the late Jack) Burtnett, and Rob (Sandy) Arnold; grandmother of 6; great-grandmother of 5; great-great-grandmother of 4. Throughout the years Barbara worked for the Oakmont Carnegie Library and the Riverview School District. She volunteered in the library at St. Margaret’s Hospital, was an active member of Oakmont United Methodist Church, and was an avid golfer at the Alcoma Golf Club. Arrangements are private and entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s name to Oakmont Carnegie Library or Oakmont United Methodist Church.
