Camille A. Politano

Age 94, of Verona, formerly of Warrendale and Oakmont, PA, died on June 2, 2023, about a month from her 95th birthday.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Politano, loving sister of Lewis F. Pistella, Frank S. Pistella (Kay), Mary O. Sciullo (Felix, Sr.). Camille was preceded in death by her parents Emma and Anthony Pistella and her siblings Lewis and Frank Pistella.

Camille has many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and devoted friends. She was fiercely dedicated to her family and, though she had no children of her own, she was like a mother to all.

She loved to entertain in her Warrendale home. For many years, Easter and Thanksgiving dinners were delicious and fun. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to escape the western PA winters. She also volunteered faithfully for Meals on Wheels, the Komen Breast Cancer Mother’s Day Walk, TRY, a day camp for kids with special needs, and Special Olympics.

Camille worked as a City of Pittsburgh Meter Maid, before becoming a bookkeeper for Collins Nursing Home. She worked for many years as a Patient Account Supervisor and Business Manager for Kane Ross Community Living Center, Allegheny County.

She leaves an amazing legacy of kindness, love, compassion and generosity and will remain forever in the hearts of her family.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 9:00 - 10:15 AM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held following visitation at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Garden
