Carmella M. Lasagna went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2, 2020 at the age of 93+ years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Domenic Campanella, second husband Frank Lasagna and eldest son Donald Campanella. Carmella was the 7th child born to Antonio and Madeline in August, 1926 and loved her large Italian family. She was a loving mother to Donald and Robert. Carmella had strength of character, a sound work ethic, was full of laughter, and brought joy to others. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed having family over for large Italian feasts. Nothing made her happier than when others were enjoying good food around her table! Carmella will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her, including her caregivers over the past several years. Carmella is survived by her son, Robert Campanella and daughter-in-law Lisa; daughter-in-law Linda Campanella; step-daughter Janet Fetzer; grandchildren Michael and Dan Campanella and their wives, Megan and Ashley; Rainee Campanella Hamilton and her husband Ezekiel, and David Campanella and his wife Haley; and step-granddaughter Patty Goldstein. Gramma Lasagna had 7 great-grandchildren, Esther and Addie Campanella, Dominic Campanella, Everett and Lydia Hamilton, Cody and Dylan Goldstein. Carmella’s life will be celebrated privately and arrangements have been entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
