Carroll M. “Babe”

Age 84 of Penn Hills, formerly of Verona, on Friday, July 17, 2020. Loving father of Lori (Jeff) Gasparik and Steve Vanover; son of the late Frank and Josephine Vanover; brother of Elizabeth “Cookie” Klucinec, the late Theresa Wernert, and the late Paul Vanover. Carroll was employed by the Verona Post Office as a mail carrier for 35 years and was an avid golfer in his spare time. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 21, 2020, from 3-8 p.m., at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, Verona. Interment will follow in Oakmont-Verona Cemetery.
