Daniel L. Brockhoff
Unexpectedly, on July 5, 2026, Daniel Lee Brockhoff, 64, of Oakmont, Pennsylvania was killed in a tragic accident. Dan was a proud, proud United States Marine who was honorably discharged in 1989. During his time in active duty, Dan won many awards and earned perfect scores in physical fitness competitions.
No matter what obstacles were thrown at Dan, he was always happy and grateful. Dan loved to be outdoors, especially if he was hunting and fishing, hobble bobble. As a past pharmacist, he knew every symbol on the periodic table of elements. As proud as Dan was to be a Marine and pharmacist, he was most proud of being a Daddy to his one and only daughter, Bailey Jean Brockhoff (Trevor Fagan), who survives. Dan is also survived by his “SKEDS” Diane McMahon Brockhoff, who was his best friend. Dan was predeceased by his loving parents Chuck and Nancy Brockhoff. He is also survived by his brother David (Charlene) Brockhoff, niece Heather (James) Brockhoff, nephew Shannon (Christine) Brockhoff, his in laws, “Mr. and Mrs. M”, Bryan and Jean McMahon and loads of family and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held immediately after visitation at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Parish – St. Irenaeus Church, 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. To celebrate Dan’s patriotism, the family asks that you wear red, white and blue. A private interment will take place at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
