Age 54, of Oakmont, returned to the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Ellie; loving father of David E.; son of Robert F., and the late Sandra Medved; brother of Robert C., Ron (Susan), John (Lisa), and Kristy Medved; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that were all very dear to him. Dave was an avid outdoorsman and a skilled craftsman who took great pride in his work. He was strong in his faith and had the ability to inspire others to strengthen theirs. The Longwood at Oakmont Community was very important to him, and he viewed his co-workers and the residents as family. But above all, he loved his son, David. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, from 3-7 p.m., at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
