David Raymond Sauers

David Raymond Sauers, of Wexford, age 69, on July 28, 2024. Cherished son of Raymond (Buzz) Sauers and Nancy Sauers, both deceased, and beloved brother of Susan Sauers Muschweck (former husband Stan Muschweck), Nancy Sauers Malone, Timothy Sauers (Lorraine) and Patricia Sauers Gabig (Rev. Dr. Jack). Father of Sam Sauers; beloved uncle of Zachary Malone, Max Malone (Erin), Callahan Malone (Terrance Nash), Victoria Liggett (Matthew), Meredith Muschweck and Isabel Muschweck; and 7 great nieces and nephews. Also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins. David suffered a TBI in 1972 when he was barely 18, and amazingly lived 52 years with this severe trauma. David graduated North Allegheny High School in 1972 and excelled as a hockey player on the school team. David was also a gifted artist. In his final days, he was cared for by the amazing staff at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford. We are grateful for this final act of kindness for our brother. A rainbow appeared today, a symbol of the peace you’ve found and the connectedness of all. There will be no visitation and services will be private. In memory of our dear brother, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, PA.
