Edward C. Snyder

Age 87, of Oakmont, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. Beloved husband of 67 years to Kathryn Homison Snyder; father of Vincent Snyder, Suzan (Charles) Johnston, the late Christopher (Debbie surviving) Snyder, and the late Patrick Snyder; grandfather of 5; great-grandfather of 7; son of Edward and Dorothy Boice Snyder; brother of Charles Snyder and the late William Snyder. Edward was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce, an NRA instructor, and served on the Oakmont Police Dept. as a police sergeant for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, going to flea markets, eating chocolate chip cookies, and spending time with his beloved dog Daisy. A private Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Family Parish.
