Elizabeth Ann "Betty Ann" Bardes

Age 85, of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late George H. Bardes; loving mother of Lisa (Rick) Eichenlaub, Rebecca (Edward) Crousey, and George (Joanne) Bardes; grandmother of Hannah Crousey, Jack Crousey, and Shannon (Jeffrey) Huntington; great-grandmother of Lauren and Sarah Huntington; sister-in-law of Jo Ellen Schrode. In addition to her husband Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her long-time companion Andrew Powers and her brother William Schrode who passed away on the same day as Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a graduate and Sharpshooter of Oakmont High School, class of 1953. She enjoyed hunting, salmon fishing, the Outer Banks, and her home on the river. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 11:30 a.m., in Verona Cemetery, Oakmont. Arrangements are entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
