Gary K. Swift

Age 72, of Upper Burrell, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the beloved son of Alice (Showalter) Swift and the late Charles Swift, father of Ingrid Bigenho, brother of Sandra (David) Kratz, Valeri (the late Frank) Devere, and Colleen (John Ariondo) Chadwick. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, a resurrector of old cars, a talented welder, and an overall jack of all trades. Gary will forever be remembered for his independence and his ability to live a life of simplicity in his own unique way. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 5-7 p.m., at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
