Helen Grover

Age 97, of Oakmont, formerly of Verona, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Beloved wife of the late John Gombos; loving mother of Beverly Gombos and Diana (Joseph) Dombroski; grandmother of Shayla Gombos, Tanya (Matthew) Watson and Joe Dombroski, Jr.; great-grandmother of Felicity Watson and Joel Watson; sister of Shirley Barlich. In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Josephine Gabud and siblings Bessie Mock, Lucille Carnahan, Kathleen Hyser, Marie Skinner, and Thomas Gabud. Prior to retirement Helen worked as a Nurse’s Aide for 35 years at the facility currently known as Oakmont Center for Nursing and Rehab. Friends will be received at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30 p.m.
