Idamary Moore

Age 95, of Oakmont, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents John R. Cribbs and Esther Cribbs (nee Schilling) of Verona, and her beloved husband, David R. Moore. Mary is survived by her son, Dr. Timothy (Laura) Moore, and her 3 grandchildren, Colin, Gillian, and Meghan Moore. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews in the Walworth family and her many friends.  She was a lifelong resident of the Verona/Oakmont community and a devoted member of the Oakmont Presbyterian Church.  She continued to be an active member of her card club for over 50 years, participated in weekly exercise classes, and loved to hold court at Hoffstots. Friends and family will be received on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 10 – 11 am at Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Interment to follow at Plum Creek Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Idamary’s name to Oakmont Presbyterian Church.
