Age 96, of Longwood At Oakmont Retirement Community, on Monday, December 2, 2019. Wife of the late Dr. Robert B. Hinman. Mother of Kirk B. Hinman, Louis C. (Lisa Kole) Hinman, Margaret H. (Thomas L.) Haas, and James H. Hinman. Grandmother of Genevieve (Andrew Walsh) Haas, Julia Haas, Zachary Haas, Alexander Hinman, and Avery Hinman. Also survived by daughter-in-law Debra Hinman. Services are private and have been entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, Pa., 15139. In Janet's memory the family suggests donations be made to The American Civil Liberties Union through their website at www.aclu.org.
