Age 77, a lifelong resident of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Daughter of the late John T. and Jean Daker Dickinson; sister of Pamela Dickinson, and Barbara (Tim) Jones; aunt of Megan (Rob) Swartz, Lindsey (Paul) Massoud, Erica (Eric) Frost Finsness, Kristen (Michael) Carlin, and Lauren (Terry) Everhart; great-aunt of 13. Jody gave her utmost to everything she loved—God, her family, her late dog Petey, her country, and her community. She was a devoted aunt, sister, neighbor, friend, and caretaker of countless birds in her backyard Audubon bird sanctuary, a faithful church member and student of God's word. She celebrated each holiday with gusto and made the best chocolate chip cookies. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10-11 a.m., in Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139, where a Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Services are entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oakmont Presbyterian Church.
