John “Jack” H. Connell Jr.

Age, 92, of Penn Hills, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Helen R. Connell (Binz). Loving father of Kathleen J. (Jim) Connell, John R. (Deborah) Connell, and Deborah A. Romeo. Preceded in death by his children Sandra (James) Irr, and Thomas E. (Teri surviving) Connell. Beloved grandfather of Christina (Thomas) Butler, Lauren (Christopher) LaRosa, Jamie (Jeff) Maybee, Jacquelyn Connell, and Samantha (Ryan) Pratta. Great-grandfather of Maliya, Elsie, Max, Evelyn, Jack, and Thomas. He was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish. Jack will be remembered most as a devoted husband, father, and friend. Most of all, he will be remembered for his fun loving nature. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
