Age 80, of Oakmont, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Samuel L. Amodeo; loving mother of Michael Amodeo, Jon  (Miriam) Amodeo, and Suzi Amodeo; stepmother of Sherry (Nick) Farina, Rosie (Peter) Biondo, and Kay (Tony) Janflone; grandma “Sweetmum” of Robbie Engleka, Alexi Petnuch, the late Anthony Farina, Joe Biondo, Dominic Farina, Sasha Amodeo, Samuel M. Amodeo, Sophia Amodeo, Samuel J. Amodeo, and Catie Amodeo. Kaaren was a former councilwoman in Oakmont PA, a founding member of the Kerr Memorial Museum, a board member of the Women’s Golf Association of Oakmont Country Club, and a member of the Oakmont Garden Club.  Friends will be received on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3-7 pm at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Kaaren’s name to the Kerr Memorial Museum at 402 Delaware Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 or Silver Lining Senior Care at 2585 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
