Age 73, of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2020. Loving mother of Caroline (Todd) Young and James Burns; grandmother of Elizabeth Young; sister of Susanne Chenot, Sally (Jim) Davis, Phyllis (Jim) Sobczak, Glenn (Jackie) Chenot, and Gary (Patti) Chenot; aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her parents Regis and Flora (Kausler) Chenot. Karen was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed visiting with family, watching television (except for commercials!), bingo, reading, and of course food! On holidays, when offered a choice among cake, pie, ice cream, etc., Karen would always just say “yes”. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11:30 a.m., in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 7601 Mt. Carmel Rd., Verona, PA 15147. Services entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
