Age 89, of Oakmont, on Thursday, October, 12, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Edward Snyder; mother of Vincent Snyder, Suzan (Charles) Johnston, the late Christopher (Debbie surviving) Snyder, and the late Patrick Snyder; grandmother (Dee Dee) of Becky Etter, Caitlin Wisniewski, Elizabeth Kozuha, Stephanie Sorrell, and Justin Snyder; great-grandmother of Paisley, Beau, Palmer, Deacon, Madeline, Luke, Christopher, Raelynn, Oliver, and two on the way. She was preceded in death by her eight brothers, Joseph, George, Andrew, William, Edward, James, John, and Robert Homison. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kathryn loved to bake and was known as the “cake lady” in Oakmont. She was an avid gardener with a beautiful garden. Her other interests included cooking, cleaning, reading, sewing, and most notably, entertaining and taking care of her family. She will be truly missed. Friends and family will be received on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
