Kenneth A. Cromie Sr.

Age 77, of DuBois, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Carol Cromie (Kepka); loving father of Kenneth A. Cromie Jr. (Amy) and Kimberly A. Burns (Peter); grandfather of Cassidy N. Burns and Karalynn A. Burns.

Ken was a 1964 graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 until 1971. Thereafter he worked at Bell Telephone/Verizon in various positions until his retirement in a supervisory position in 1999.

Ken truly enjoyed life with family and friends, which included traveling, golfing, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, donating time to the Make a Wish Foundation, cooking and baking, chatting over a cup of tea, or spending time at the lake.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 11-1 PM, followed by a service at 1 PM, at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kenneth’s name to the Make a Wish Foundation, the Humane Society, or the Wounded Warriors.
