Larry G. Bergless

Age 88, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Beloved husband of 61 years to Lona Bergless; loving father of Lawrence (Bonnie) III Bergless and Cathy Bergless Scott; grandfather of Daniel Bergless; brother of Diana Baleno. He was preceded in death by nine other siblings. Also survived by his beloved dog, Pita. Larry retired from UPMC as a carpenter. He was a member of the American Legion Post 980 Plum, the Verona Eagles, the Algonquin Boat Club, and an honorary member of The North Naples Country Club. Larry enjoyed working in the yard, boating, riding motorcycles, and was a car enthusiast. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 2-5 PM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Service and interment private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Larry’s name to American Legion Post 980 Plum at 7824 Saltsburg Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15239.
