Lawrence H. White

Age 94, of Oakmont, formerly of Greenfield and Brentwood, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, June 6, 2021.  Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Irene (Satala) White, his parents Charles E. and Theresa (Poehlman) White, and siblings Charles F., Mary Catherine, and Paul White. He is survived by his cherished second wife Frances (McGill) White, his six children, Kevin (Judy) White, Kathy (Wally) Bylinowski, Mary Beth (Steve) Uhlman, Chris (Patti) White, Amy (Jay) Panzarella and Nannette Bollinger, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Larry was an Army veteran and the first in his family to graduate from college. Larry was a proud alumnus of Duquesne University. He was employed as a CPA and had a distinguished 30 year career with the IRS.  To support raising a young family, Larry also taught evening accounting and tax classes at Robert Morris University.  After his retirement from the IRS, Larry began a second career as a consultant at the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 4-8 p.m., at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 10 a.m., in Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Church), 387 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139.
