Linda Z. Barnes

Linda Zourelias Barnes. On Sunday, September 30, 2018 age 67 of Penn Hills.  Beloved wife of Todd E. Barnes.  Loving mother of Andrew and Benjamin Barnes of Penn Hills.  Daughter of Sarah Zourelias and sister of Susan (Roland) Scott, Manila (Sam) Lewis, and Sharon (Ken) Krol. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Zourelias and Mercedes Thompson, and her siblings Harry and Fred Zourelias.  Linda was a teacher in the Penn Hills School District and a proud member of the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont where she taught Sunday school to generations of parishioners and their children.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 3-8pm at the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 378 Maryland Avenue Oakmont, Pa 15139 where a Trisagion Service will be held at 6pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:30am in the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, Oakmont where an additional visitation will be held at 10am.  Memorial contributions may be made to: Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church 12 Washington Ave. Oakmont, Pa 15139.  Online condolences may be made to: englishfuneralhome.com.
