Lois R. Wilson

Age 94, of Frederick, Maryland, formerly of Fox Chapel, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Wife of the late James R. Wilson; daughter of the late Elmer W. Reed and Margaret Nunley Reed; sister of the late Nancy Smith, Hazel Reed and Mary Snyder; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nieces and nephews and her brother-in-laws William J. Smith and George C. Snyder. Lois graduated from West Deer High School and attended college at Duquesne University. She went on to be a teacher for the Fox Chapel School District for 39 years before she retired. Lois was a member of East Union Presbyterian Church and the Springdale Chapter #453 Order of the Eastern Star. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 1PM at East Union Presbyterian Church, 292 E Union Road, Cheswick, PA 15024, followed by interment at the East Union Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to English Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Fox Chapel Area School District (FCASD) Children First Fund via their website.
