Reneé M. Kilian
Reneé M Kilian, 67, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025. Born on November 7, 1957, in New Kensington, PA, Reneé was the beloved daughter of Wanda and the late John Zourelias.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Reneé’s greatest joy in life was her family. She shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, Robert John Kilian, and was a dedicated mother who adored her two children Joseph J. Kilian (Natasha) and Brittany Kilian Melissakis (Yeorgos). Her heart was fullest when surrounded by her cherished grandchildren, Robert Landon Kilian and Joseph Brooks Kilian, who brought her immense happiness.
Reneé is survived by her mother, Wanda Zourelias, and her brother, John Zourelias. She is reunited in peace with her father, John Zourelias, and her brother, Harry Zourelias. Longtime members of the Holy Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont, Reneé and her family owned and operated J&W Variety in Aspinwall for many years for which she had uncountable memories in her heart.
A woman of unwavering love and dedication, Reneé’s life revolved around her family. She was the heart and soul of her home, always ensuring that her children and grandchildren felt supported, loved, and cherished. Her warmth, kindness, and selfless devotion will live on in the hearts of those she held so dear.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 3-7 PM, with Trisagion at 5 PM, at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Ave., Oakmont, PA from 11:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Deer Creek Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church at 2:30 PM for family and friends to gather in remembrance.
Reneé’s legacy of love and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory be eternal.
