Robert C. Finlay, Jr.
Age 63, of Oakmont, formerly of Plum, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Bob is survived by his devoted son Zachary (Michelle) Finlay, his loving daughter Alexandra Finlay, and adored granddaughter Clarabelle. His loss is mourned by his siblings Mary-Ellen (Terry) Marks, Jane McClelland and James (Nikki) Finlay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Robert C. and Rosemary S. Finlay. Bob dearly loved his hometown of Oakmont and was an avid collector of postcards showing scenes from Oakmont’s early years (est. 1889). He recently donated his collection to the Oakmont Historical Society and it is featured in a slideshow “The Bob Finlay Collection”. A graduate of Riverview High School and Pennsylvania State University, Bob also loved archaeology, especially military artifacts. He was employed for many years in the business office of Tomanetti Pizza and other food service companies. Arrangements are private and entrusted to English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
