*Updated* Robert “Bob” McCandless. Age 80 of Oakmont passed peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Beloved brother of Ann Peterson of Williamsburg, VA. Dear Uncle to 5 nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, W. Donald and Louise McCandless and sister, Molly Burnett. Bob was a dedicated volunteer at Riverview Community Action Center in Oakmont and was a member of the Oakmont Lions Club. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10 am in St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 378 Delaware Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139. A private interment will be in Allegheny Cemetery.
