Robert A. Prescott

Robert Prescott, aged 63, from Pittsburgh, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Kim Prescott and the loving father of Anthony (Brittany) Prescott, Josh Prescott, Ryan (Michael Battisti) Prescott, and Katie Wessel. He is survived by his sisters Patricia Grimm, Susie Baurle, and Loretta Lenig. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Robert, and his sisters, Roberta, Anna Marie, Mary, and Cathy. He was the proud grandfather of Hayden Prescott and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert passed away with “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere” playing in the background, a fitting tribute as he was an active member of the Pittsburgh Parrot Head Club (Steel City Fins). Bob dedicated over 44 years of service to Giant Eagle Inc., managing their print facilities. He was known for his “do it yourself” approach, completing many DIY projects. He also had a passion for camping, fishing, music, and competitive roller-skating. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 1-5 PM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home, followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, 943 Gibsonia Rd., Cheswick, PA 15024.
