Age 86, of Sarver, on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Catherine Aquaviva Then; loving father of Gerald “Jerry” Boyle, Linda Macklem, Daniel Boyle, Sharon Rice, Michael Then and Ronald Then; survived by his sister Helen Rybar and preceded in death by his brother Henry Then and his sister Margaret Then; also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob was a man with a passion for the outdoors.  He enjoyed watching and feeding his many animal friends daily. He looked forward to cutting the grass with his zero turn lawnmower and making a stop at the top of his yard to enjoy the cool breeze in the shade of a tree. Bob was a dedicated employee for Rome Electric and Aerotech for many years and was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a dad, a friend and a mentor. He will be deeply missed by the people who knew and loved him. Especially his family.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM for a visitation and service at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A private interment will take place at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bob’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
