Sarah “Sally” L. Zourelias

Age 87, of Murrysville, formerly of Oakmont, on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Zourelias; parents Harry Alphonso Wendling and Garnette Pauline Wagner; children Manila (Sam surviving) Lewis, Linda (Todd) Barnes, Harry (Lisa surviving) Zourelias, Suzan (Rowland surviving) Scott, and Fred (Debbie surviving) Zourelias; siblings Katherine Vivian Louise (Emerson) Wendling, John Homer (Jackie) Wendling, Pauline Garnette (Frank) Wendling, Dolores Marie Wendling, Mercedes Harriet (Harry) Wendling, Andrea Wendling, and Dorothy Jean Wendling. She was a loving grandmother to Clint and Chad Scott, Sammy (Kim) and Anna (Scott) Henderson, Stacy (John) Del Vecchio, Jake Zourelias, Zac Zourelias, Erica Zourelias, and Andrew and Benjamin Barnes. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Sally absolutely loved her job as a school crossing guard for the Verona Borough, which she happily did for 20 years. Her family meant everything to her and she cherished her time with them. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 where a Trisagion will take place at 2PM. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Ave., Oakmont, PA from 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at the Verona Cemetery, Oakmont.
