Shirley A. Barlich

Age 83, formerly of Verona, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Loving mother of LisaMarie (Kevin) Leadbitter, grandmother of Jessica, Jacob and Isaiah; preceded in death by her siblings Bessie Mock, Marie Skinner, Helen Grover, Lucille Carnahan, Kathleen Hyser and Thomas Gabud; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Shirley was an avid animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a strong faith and ever-growing connection with God. She also loved playing cards (pinochle), board games and shopping. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 4-5 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 5 PM, at English Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Shirley’s name to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/donate.html or the American Heart Association at https://pages.heart.org/heartsem_v1/?form=legacy&fe554144=03ecc688a3c5&id-param=sem_honmem. There will also be a Memorial Service on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 11 AM at her church in Charleroi, CR (City Reach) at 1006 Fallowfield Avenue.
