Age 80, of Oakmont, on Friday, December 2, 2022 following a long illness. Loving husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Richey; beloved father of Todd (Susan) Richey, Terrence (Elaine) Richey, and Tracey (Ralph) DeFilippo; Proud Pap to 11 amazing grandchildren John, Ben, Eden, Shannon, Josh, Adam Richey, Katie, Dom (Christine), Gabi, Belle, Sal DeFilippo. Preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Adele Richey and his sister Barbara Richey. He retired from Edgewater Steel, PA Department of Corrections, was a proud Marine Corps veteran, but above all was a hardworking, loving family man. The family would like to extend a thank you to Good Samaritan Hospice of Ridgewood Place, Plum Boro. Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 1-4 pm at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139, where a Blessing Service will follow at 4 pm with Pastor Mike Brownfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Thomas’s name to Children’s Hospital Oncology Unit of Pittsburgh at 4401 Penn Ave., Floor 9, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
